Music – My All Time Favourites

Firstly, Music is my life.

I listen to music almost all day long, when I’m blogging, exercising, cooking, cleaning and falling asleep. I’m a bit obsessed and I know it. I love listening to old music, new music, nostalgic music, music that’s moving and powerful. I really enjoy discovering new artists and albums I’ve not heard before, or those I used to listen to when I was a little emo rocker back in the day! Thanks to my parents and my brother, I’m a lover of all genres from my first love of rock to pop, rap, jazz, R&B and hip hop, as well as country, musicals and classical.

And of course, I love to attend gigs & concerts. I have seen almost all of my favourite artists below live (some more than twice), with the unfortunate exception of Linkin Park. My first ever gig was The Rasmus in 2003, where I was by myself in the mosh pit whilst my Mam and her friend watched from the upstairs “parent” seats! And since, I have seen and experienced the live music effect some amazing artists over the years.

On Cookie FM I want to share with you my all time favourite artists, albums and certain songs that will forever be on my playlists. Maybe you’ll discover a few new tracks that tickle your earbuds!

Favourite Artists

These seven artists have been my go-to for any mood. Whether I’m on a high, feeling low, need to rock out or getting ready for a night out, I can always rely on this seven. Since their very first song released, I’ve been hooked and have loved each of these artists’ progressions and musical transitions.
