Jameson Black Barrel Pop Up Christmas Experience*

Jameson. Creative. Whiskey Loving.

It’s funny how over the years, your pallat changes and you can really appreciate flavours. Drinking whiskey is one of those, and thanks to Jameson I’ve had the pleasure to taste and learn about one of the best. And now, they’re opening their Jameson Black Barrel Pop Up in Dublin – and you’re invited!

Pop up experiences have never sounded so good, and Jameson are bringing back their Black Barrel Pop Up experience just in time for the Christmas season right in the heart of Dublin. Only a hop and a skip away from the Grafton Quarter over in the Creative Quarter, Dublin’s South William Street will have a new kind of creative space this December.

The Jameson Black Barrel pop up will be open at 57 South William Street from December 11th until Christmas Eve December 24th

Charring is an age-old method for invigorating barrels to intensify the taste. Jameson Black Barrel is their tribute to their hard-working coopers, who painstakingly give the bourbon barrels an additional charring that reveals their untold richness and complexity. Because every barrel contains secrets; the trick is coaxing them out. Jameson Black Barrel has three unique scents: butterscotch, fudge and creamy toffee. How can I not like it!? Alonside these, the taste combines nutty notes with the smooth sweetness of spice and vanilla. Again, I love all of these flavours.

At the Jameson Black Barrel Pop Up, you can also get personal with your Christmas gifting with the limited-edition bottle engraving experience – adding an extra special touch for whiskey lovers under the tree. Costing only €50, an engraved Jameson Black Barrel is perfect for those you love this Christmas.

At the Jameson Black Barrel Pop Up Experience there will be three unique evenings of cultural connection and analogue discovery featuring a number of Ireland’s most prominent creative leaders, as well as artistic workshops, cultural commentary and whiskey tastings, pop-up sessions and an always-on performance space.
