October’s been quite a hard month, emotionally and mentally, and so I can always rely on my music to get me through those tough times. With work, and events, and parties, and my friends & family, it’s been that little bit easier – and music has been at the centre of it all, especially on the days I’m by myself. There are albums and songs I’d slightly forgotten about, but now they’re back on repeat. I’ve also been listening to the radio in work every day and through the three stations we tune in to (RTÉ 2FM with Nicky Byrne & Jenny Greene, Today FM with Dermot & Dave, Q102 with Aidan Cooney), I’ve discovered new songs and old songs that are new to me, and I always enjoy coming across artists I’d not heard of before, that I then really like.
