EVENT – TheTaste.ie 1st Birthday Party

On Monday evening (October 19th), I was invited to TheTaste.ie 1st birthday party, to celebrate their last 12 months of success. I was delighted to attend, as I’ve been a fan of TheTaste.ie since September 2014 and I am so happy to see how big they’ve become. Founded by Keith & Jules Mahon, who also act as Managing and Marketing Directors respectively, the party took place at House Dublin, on Leeson Street and was a luxurious delight with endless Prosecco, delicious food and plenty of prizes.

TheTaste.ie is Ireland’s online food & drink magazine, that’s bursting with restaurant reviews, foodie features, recipes and competitions, as well as fantastic offers for lunch, dinner, brunch, drinks & Afternoon Tea, and even luxurious culinary escapes, whilst also keeping us up to date on food events. – Visit TheTaste.ie here

I really enjoyed the food that the chefs at House whipped up for us, sampling their Fish & Chips, Chicken Curry, Tortelini and Mushroom Risotto before going in for the desserts of Mini Chocolate and Custard Tarts. All of the food was delicious, I must say their hake fish & chips really had me going back for more, and the chocolate dessert was heavenly. I’m looking forward to dining here for a proper sit down, and have made preliminary plans with Ellen & Shelley to do so!

The event was full of friends, bloggers, food lovers and fans of TheTaste.ie, and everyone was in flying form for a Monday evening. The outdoor area at House is stunning, with its faux grass and fairy lights, garden furniture and ornaments here & there – you really have to visit!
