When I first heard of Loreen, it was at the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest, as her performance of Euphoria for Sweden blew me away. It was the I first time in years that I felt a real performer & artist could win the Song Contest, and thankfully I was right! Only this summer did I return to Loreen’s vocals, when I bought her album Heal (2012). And my gosh do I love it. There’s something about her unique tone, her upbeat tracks and the heartfelt lyrics that make for an amazing combination. I actually become rather lost in her music, and let it just take me away – the way good music should. If you haven’t heard of Loreen before, do listen to her or even better, go buy the album!
