Nicki Minaj is a personal favourite musician, though I will admit I’m not a fan of most of her music videos. Her current album is by far her best vocally and musically, and my gosh are there some amount of emotions in those lyrics. I particularly love this track, because on Grand Piano Nicki Minaj only sings, and it is beautiful. What people forget is that Nicki CAN sing, she attended and graduated from Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts, and I feel this song shows exactly what she is capable of. Following the release of this album, Nicki also released The Pinkprint Movie, a short feature film that essentially included three music videos: The Crying Game, I Lied & Grand Piano.
