Ciara is and has been one of my favourite artists. When her first song, Goodies (2004), was released it introduced a whole new genre of music to me. Eleven years later and Ciara still sounds & looks as good, if not even better. When she released I Bet in January of this year, it had an instant impact on me. Its lyrical content is hard-hitting and the vocal direction is beautiful. Then in March, Ciara released the accompanying music video – and now I’m even more in love with the song.
