About

Welcome to Cookie FM

Originally, Cookie FM started out as a food & music venture, as I have always wanted to talk about these two, because I really, really love food and music. I love trying new recipes, dining in new restaurants, tasting new cuisines and sipping delicious cocktails. I love listening to old music, new music, nostalgic music, moving and powerful music, discovering new artists & albums and attending gigs & concerts.

But I have also always loved the escape the movie & tv industries give us. This side of the entertainment business can bring such happiness, love, excitement and thrills to life, and I tend to watch a movie almost every night, and when I get the time I binge watch many a tv series! I’m always on the go, and to travel is not only a necessity in life, but it’s one of the most epic ways to dive into new cultures, find new experiences, make new memories, and meet new people.

A little more info about myself: my name is Nirina, I’m in my 30s and from Dublin, Ireland. I am of Malagasy & Irish ethnicity and I’ve been a blogger and website owner since I was 10 years old! I ran my fashion blog, Killer Fashion, since 2010 until I put it to rest in 2024 as that chapter of my life had closed.

I’m a huge fan of rugby and watch every single Ireland, Leinster, Connacht, Munster & Ulster match, and love to watch the various leagues and championships. My uncle took me to my first match back in 2009 and I’ve been hooked ever since! I’m lucky enough to have seen so many rugby matches in-person, including the final test when Ireland won the Six Nations 2023. With work, I’m also honoured to work with the IRFU Charitable Trust whose work is not only important but needs more awareness. Meeting many of their seriously injured rugby players, the work I do at Get Broadcasting to tell these players’ stories, interview current & former rugby stars, and produce videos for the IRFU Charitable Trust is easily a career highlight that I’m very proud of.

And though my Mam passed away in 2012, I’ve never let it hinder my strength in living life to the fullest. I frequently fundraise for ARC Cancer Support Centres too, to help raise awareness of the amazing work they do.

If you want to drop me an email about anything, to review your restaurant, taste your cocktails, listen to your album, watch your movies, visit your city or attend an event – please contact me:
